The form says I'm using an old version what do I do?

This just means your browser has an older cached copy of the page. Refresh (Ctrl/Cmd + R) or clear your browser cache, then reopen the registration form and try again you should see the current version and be able to submit.

I can't upload my payment confirmation, what now?

First try: a screenshot instead of a PDF, a file under 5MB, and a different browser if the field still won't accept it.

If it still fails, email your payment screenshot along with your full name and registration reference directly to admin@lakementalhealthconference.org and info@lakementalhealthconference.org. Our team will match it to your registration manually.

How do I pay if I'm in Kenya?

Pay via M-Pesa Paybill:

  1. Go to M-Pesa → Lipa na M-Pesa → Paybill.
  2. Paybill Number: 247247
  3. Account Number: 097969
  4. Amount: your registration fee (e.g. KES 5,000/day delegate, KES 3,000/day student).
  5. Enter your registration reference as the payment reference/note.
  6. Complete the payment and keep the M-Pesa confirmation SMS.
  7. Go back to the registration confirmation screen and submit the M-Pesa confirmation code under "Submit Your Payment Reference" or email it if the upload isn't working (see above).
How do I pay from outside Kenya, or by bank transfer?

Use a direct bank transfer to Equity Bank Kenya, account name Tinada Youth Action Africa. Use the USD account if you're transferring from outside Kenya, or the KES account if you're paying locally by bank:

Put your registration reference in the transfer narrative/reference field, keep your bank slip or transfer confirmation, then submit it under "Submit Your Payment Reference" on the confirmation screen (or email it see the upload question above).

What happens after my registration is confirmed?

Once you submit your payment reference, our team verifies it within 24–48 hours. You'll receive a confirmation email once it's approved — this is your official proof of registration. Virtual attendees receive a join link closer to the conference; in-person delegates receive event and logistics details ahead of 29–30 September. If you opted in, you'll also be added to the Regional MHC 2026 WhatsApp group for updates.

I can't submit my abstract through the site what do I do?

Email your abstract directly to abstract@lakementalhealthconference.org with your full name, affiliation, and sub-theme, and our team will process it manually.
